  • Obligations versus Toys and Definitions: People fall into business because it's shoved their way. The one's who strive never achieve. The same is with relationships. Most would do without if they could. Writers fail who have no need. Artists languish without the same. People who have no life should give thanks. I have very little business or need for it. Why would someone like me even want it? Devils are simply men or spirits who either have little need for business or who fall into that sort. Saints and angels, also if you regard them as people or like people. People are born into places or write to maintain their minds or fulfill a need. There's no such thing as to 'get a life' because less is actually more. People have obligations. It's not fun. Church is a family obligation and many priests and nun are from orphanages, etc. Sometimes its something like body size and inappropriateness. Proximity is another one. Some people are born next to Intel (R) and have small obligations. People without obligations care usually destined for information (like me) and may develop 'scout's disorder' which you can guess as to the meaning.

    Deutschland!Deutschland!ヶ月 前
    • @Deutschland! Whoops, that's my mistake haha. But seriously speaking, you can say that ANY government has a good leader most of the time. When a bad leader comes about, we kick them out, because that is what is best for the country. Leaders in authoritarian governments get absolute power, where they can stay no matter what they do. In the cases where you get a bad leader, the country could get destroyed fairly easily. Technically, you're right in the sense that giving absolute power isn't **always** a bad idea. Sometimes not having to go through something like Congress to get a law to pass is beneficial. Not having to worry about the opposite party striking down your ideas is certainly less annoying. But authoritarian governments carry significantly more risk than other forms of government. In the words of someone more knowledgeable than me on this topic, the only time a nation should utilize absolute leadership is when they are in crisis. Otherwise, you can't take the chance of getting someone who is less than desirable.

      Hannah KingHannah King28 日 前

      Deutschland!Deutschland!29 日 前
    • @Hannah King they are most of the time good

      Deutschland!Deutschland!29 日 前
    • @Deutschland! Right, but the problem is that we can't assume that an authoritarian leader is going to be a good leader. An authoritarian government would only be successful if there was a smart, altruistic, and confident person in charge who was willing to own up to their own mistakes. I can't think of any U.S. presidents who met all of those requirements, besides a couple of the early ones. If someone rises to power, then we have no way of getting them out of that top position if they start doing dumb stuff. Under our government, if the president does something illegal, we get them out of office. We wouldn't be able to do that under an authoritarian system. I feel like this is the third time I've explained this. On paper, an authoritarian government is fine. But you need to think of the major risks associated with it, because one bad person could destroy a nation. And where's my grammar mistake? I couldn't see any.

      Hannah KingHannah King29 日 前
    • @Hannah King I’m not nine but your grammar shows that you are nine, just because someone is authoritarian doesn’t make them bad

Or if they legalize beating your wife, how would you respond to that situation? I guess I get the advantages but take a look at the current nations operating with authoritarian leaders. A lot of them are opposing women's rights, silencing media that talk badly about them. Do you think that losing those rights is worth having a growing economy (I don't agree with you but I'd like to hear your view on it. I just don't understand how someone thinks that authoritarianism is okay)?

    • He’s been doing this since he first ran for president, ran his campaign on this, & has done this in his entire term as president & continues to do so right to the very end. Don’t be shocked at all when the whole truth comes out that he’s been a Russian & Chinese informant this whole time, giving them vital information & much more in exchange for tons & tons of money by not just himself, even though he’s still the mastermind of this, because he’s definitely not as rich as he claims he is, but also his cronies & other powerful GOP politicians. He’s the ringleader of dividing & destroying this country & setting in backwards instead of forwards & made Russia & China stronger without either country having to use a nuclear weapon or put 1 soldier on American soil. He damaged the Democratic Republic, damaged the economy, lead the domestic hostility, hate & division that has greatly ramped up in America since he began his candidacy. I pray the whole truth comes out about all the corruption & evil things he’s been involved in & he & everyone involved is jailed. Get ready for the greatest corruption in American history, greater than Watergate, greater than during the Harding Administration. It’s going to take a long time to fix & recover from what Drumpf caused. The Ultimate Con man. how much he had manipulated the American people, the media, the enormous rise in baseless, fake news, the facist propaganda, the fear campaigns, the lies to discredit BLM & Universal Police Reform. He’s racist, xenophobic. If you aren’t a white man also an attractive white woman to him, he’s against you & uses his power on social media & in the news to destroy you. Protects the white supremacy groups & hate groups who are “domestic terrorists”. Discredits facts, science, actual, accurate information as “fake news”. A “Know-It-All” that knows nothing at all how to actually run a country & ran it like one of his many failed, bankrupt, corrupt business. They all need to be jailed immediately. He will try to pardon himself, his kids, his son-in-law, etc. Melania is going to be divorcing him. He’ll definitely try to flee to Russia. He cannot get away with all that he has done

  • So long as you do not know the content of Riane Eisler's book, The Chalice and the Blade, you will stumble in ignorance when it comes to history and politics. The rise of authoritarianism is due DIRECTLY to the 6000 year history of what Eisler calls "dominator cultures," which displaced the "partnership cultures" which preceded them. Instead of living in partnership with the land and one another, the wielders of the Blade ranked humanity, especially in ranking men above women due to their marginally higher average strength and attachment to their egos. We can return to peace, prosperity, equality, and love whenever we want to. But we have to know our past to travel to this future.
